Christmas House Party
On Friday 25th November we held our Charity House Party at Launde Abbey which saw the launch of our Winter Appeal 2011/12.
Guests gathered at the beautiful Launde Abbey for a cocktail reception and delicious three course meal followed by a performance by the Sven Klangs Jazz band. A silent auction raised a fantastic £800 and got our appeal off to a great start.
Guests were also able to hear from Reverend Tim Blewett, trustee of Action Homeless, on his vulnerable housing journey that he undertook in the lead up to the event. His journey through the hostel system included overnight stays at Mayfield House and The Hollies.
We would like to thank everybody that joined us at Launde Abbey for a fantastic evening.
