WHY DONATE?
Without voluntary donations Action Homeless wouldn’t be able to help homeless people off the streets and enable them to rebuild their lives. We work hard to ensure that every penny you give makes a difference to the lives of homeless people in Leicester and Leicestershire.
We use voluntary donations in the following ways:
- To provide food, clothing and homes for people who are homeless.
- To ensure that our buildings are well maintained and comfortable places for people to live.
- To help people find, move into and stay in their own homes after leaving supported accommodation.
- To give people the confidence and skills they need to live independently, find work and make a great contribution to the local community.
- To develop new services which help stop homelessness occurring in the first place, especially among groups of people particularly at risk such as young people.

You can make a regular or one-off donation on line to Action Homeless at any time.
We use a company called Charity Giving to make sure your on line donation is managed securely.
How can my money help?
£10 – could fund a food parcel for someone sleeping rough
£20 – might provide a new set of clothes for someone coming off the street
£30 – would provide a counselling session to help someone deal with the impact of homelessness
£50 – might fund someone through a team building course to get them ready for work
£100 – could provide a bed for someone moving into their own home
