Down Not Out Leicester
Down Not Out is a vibrant community news agency run by people with experience of homelessness and vulnerable housing. It is a joint project by Action Homeless and Citizens’ Eye, supported by the Big Lottery Fund.
Community news cafes are held every Tuesday 9.30-10.30 at Coffee Republic 20-22 Granby Street LE1 1DE. Come along to share news and views on homelessness issues.

Community Media Training opportunities
Community Media Training sessions are held every other Wednesday (starting 18th January 2012) from 3-4pm at Leicester Adult Education (former library) on Belvoir Street and cover:
- an introduction to community media techniques through media projects and involvement in the production of newsletters, magazines, film, photographs and radio
- use of community social media such as You Tube, Twitter, Facebook and Flickr
