Mayoral Debate 2011

 

With Leicester about to vote for its first ever elected Mayor, candidates answered questions from over one hundred service users, professionals and charity workers at the Action Homeless / Citizens' Eye Community Mayoral Debate which took place at St James the Greater Church Hall on Thursday 28 April 2011.

Questions focused on what the candidates would do to improve services and support for three important sections of the local community: homeless people, refugee and asylum seekers and older people.  The debate was captured on film by the team from Citizens' Eye and can be viewed using the links below.
