A+ features in new Homeful research report

We were pleased to see our Accommodation Plus (A+) project featured in a new ‘Homeful’ report by Professor Jo Richardson, the culmination of research and campaigning during her year as President of the Chartered Institute of Housing.

The final report tells the story of findings from both the research project and charitable campaign. It provides ideas for all those working in and with the private rented and social housing sector. Starting with a reflection of homelessness and social housing in the UK, the report highlights definitions of home and homelessness along with a short explanation of the methodological approaches taken in collecting and analysing data.

A+ is featured (pg.31) as a case study and example of a project offering security through proactive prevention and tenancy sustainment. Read more here.

You can also watch this animation, featuring the voices of individuals with lived experience of homelessness (including one gentleman supported by Action Homeless in Leicester).
