New Trustees appointed
Action Homeless is delighted to have appointed four new Trustees to join our existing Board. Each new Trustee brings a different set of skills and experiences which will support Action Homeless in realising its mission to break the cycle of chronic homelessness in Leicester and Leicestershire.

Kelly Gallagher
Kelly is an experienced department manager for a local manufacturing firm. As a mental health ambassador, Kelly is committed to promoting well being in professional environments as well as being an advocate for coaching as a means to developing an individual’s skills and confidence.
Amit Patel
Having held various senior positions within the Housing sector, Amit brings a wealth of experience in providing strategic direction and leadership particularly through business transformation. With a focus on housing and technology, Amit has dedicated his career to achieving positive customer experiences and business outcomes.
Pravin Parmar
Recently retired, Pravin is a fully qualified Chartered Certified Accountant with over forty five years’ worth of financial management and accounting experience. Pravin has held senior roles at a number of midlands based Housing Associations and has and is supporting a number of local charities in a voluntary capacity, serving as Treasurer and Trustee on various Boards.
James Elsey
Originally from Leicester, James has held Director and Managing Director/CEO roles of an engineering company, which operates in the UK and overseas, for the last 12 years. With a wide knowledge and experience spanning strategy, corporate governance, health & safety, environmental and quality compliance as well as project management and people development, James brings a range of skills to the Board.
