Happy New Year
We had an incredibly busy festive period at Action Homeless and would like to thank everyone who responded to our Winter Appeal and helped to make Christmas a little brighter for people affected by homelessness.
Thanks to the generosity of our donors and supporters, we were able to provide a range of events and activities in the run up to and during the Christmas period. These included;
- Arts and crafts activities including wreath making and Christmas card making workshops
- Christmas lunches and festive buffets across our housing projects
- Christmas Afternoon teas and coffee mornings
- Children’s Christmas party
We were also able to provide Christmas gift bags, gift vouchers and food hampers to individuals and families experiencing homelessness. All children living with Action Homeless received presents and we supported parents affected by homelessness who don’t currently live with their children to provide gifts.
We were delighted to welcome stars from Leicester City Football Club to Mayfield House. Watch the video here.
