Help children affected by homelessness to have a Summer to remember
With just two weeks until many schools in Leicester and Leicestershire close their doors for the holidays, we’re launching a new summer fundraising campaign and asking for your help to raise money to give children the chance to make the most of their summer holidays. Every child should have the chance to make summer memories, enjoy the sunshine and time off school.
Children in temporary housing have very limited access to the summer activities that most take for granted, and so we would like to put together a calendar of exciting events such as trips to the beach and other adventures. These trips are designed to be enjoyed by the whole family, so that they can make lasting happy memories together.
With your help and support we can give children who are experiencing homelessness the chance to participate in these activities, and give them something to smile about over the holiday period.
